Workforce classification & payment options

Pay your workforce the way the work is actually structured.

Partners can establish supported payment structures for their workforce. Depending on the relationship, job requirements, applicable law, and Partner setup, assignments may support:

W-2 Employee Payment

For assignments structured as an employment relationship under applicable law.

1099 Independent Contractor Payment

For assignments structured as an independent contractor relationship under applicable law.

Workers can review the applicable payment arrangement before accepting eligible assignments.

Important: the classification should reflect the actual working relationship and applicable employment laws — not simply a payment preference.

Complete the Job. Approve the Work. Pay the Team.

Once an assignment is completed:

Eligible workforce payments may be initiated for next-business-day payout after Partner approval and funding, with processing timelines depending on the applicable payment method and financial network.
